Dog Wetting Bed And Then Drinks Water?

I have a Westie and he is 2 years old. I house trained him when he was little. Over the past couple of months, he has peed in my bed at night a few times. Then when I get up to take him out after I realize he has peed, he goes straight to the water bowl and drinks a lot of water. I have not tried taking up his water at night, because during the day it seems like he never gets enough water. Please help! Thanks

My Westie Puppy Drinks His Water Too Quickly And Pukes!?

I recently adopted a 4 month old Westie. I don’t think the poor thing every ran through grass before I met him, he was a rescue from a breeder. We are getting along really well. This is my first dog. I am crate training him. I am working on commands, a lot harder than I though it might be. My biggest concern right now is his water consumption. I leave the food and water bowls down from 630 am – 730 pm. He gets fed at 630, 12 and 6. I try to leave water down at all times, but he he gulps it down and pukes. So lately I have been putting about a 1/2 cup in at a time. I let him drink it and I refill it immediately so he knows more is coming. This morning he puked 3 times after barely drinking any water. I really don’t know what to do! Any suggestions? I have tried interrupting him while he is drinking so he takes a breath.
