the average litter is between 3 and 5 but my westie had 7 puppies in october last year, She was just on 18 months old and it was her first litter so it was quite a surprise when she had seven as she did not look that big. good luck hopes eveything goes well
How Long Does It Take To Potty Train 2 Westie’s Pups At The Time?

I have two baby Westies, They are 13 weeks old. How long does it normally take until a dog is fully potty trained? I got them when they were 8 weeks old. The breeder told me that it would take only a week to get them train! LOL It is not true, if they are out of the cage they will pee and poop on the kitchen floor! 
They have also pee and poop once in a while in their cage too! When they are in the cage, most of the time they will cry to let me know they need out to potty! I’m afraid of letting out all the time. I do not let them out in the carpet area at all! That they know not too but once in a while they will try!
