Why Is My Fully House Trained Dog Going Toilet Inside?

I had a 1year old Yorkie and Westie. both fully house trained. the westie still is the yorkie (*****) is not peeing insde… she was very good untill recently.. im not sure why… her brother goes as soon as you open the door. i take them out regular intervals and priase her whe she does but lst few weeks she has run back insde peed and coem back out! im really confused… I am currently going back to basic with puppy training and taking her out every hour and praising and ignoring when she does it inside but im a little confused why shehas reverted??
Any ideas…..
there has been no changes in the house only change is winter months e.g. weather and dark but she doesnt seem to mind is as still goes out side despite bad weather and dark but coems in to pee!

Having Problems With 7 Month Old Westie Pup Weeing In The House?

Hi my wetie pup has just done a wee on my daughters bed, I’m really worried that we will never get her house trained!!!
We had her trained to use puppy pads by 10 weeks old.
She stop using these herself when she was 4 months, now however she has started to go for a wee around the house, weeing on my daughers bed is a first though. she know to go to the door if she wants out, and does this most of the time, I feel that we are going backwards. Any suggestion??? thanks.

Help!! 7 Month Old Westie Puppy Still Weeing In The House?

How To House Train My 5 Month Old Puppy??

my 5 month old westie will only pee inside the house on the paper. when i put her outside she wont do anything….ive tried waiting outside with her and putting her paper out with her but nothing seems to work…instead she holds it in and goes the minute she is let in again. she has even gotten a kidney infection because of this….what can i do?????????

House Training?

I have two Westie puppies (about 7 months) who are doing very well in their house training. Currently they are placed in a play pen during the day when we are at work, free when we get home, and crated for bed (eventually we’d like them to be free 100%). The problem is when we are at home and they are free. When they need to go, they walk to the back door (which is where we go out to go potty), which is great! Except that if we don’t see them right away they end up peeing in the house. They don’t bark or come get us or anything. I’d be happy to let them out when they ask but we don’t always know they are at the back door. We tried jingle bells, but they scared them. What can I do to get them to verbalize their need?

House Training? Do You Rub Its Nose In Or Not?

Hi I have a 14 week old westie pup that i have been trying to house train since 9 weeks old and have only got as far as peeing on training pads if im lucky, I was told NOT to rub its nose in its mess and say no (like how it was done years ago) because it makes the dog loose its faith in you! but im at the stage where I want to drop kick it out the door (i would never do it) Please help me!!!!

My 10 Month Old Westie Keeps Urinating In My House!?

He’s a sweet dog but, he just keeps doing it! First he urinated several times under the living room table. We blocked that area off, and now he did it in the family room, he’s good with going outside. But a half an hour later he goes again inside! Puppy pads wont work and he’s completly crate trained! How can we stop this? I’m afraid we may be forced to get rid of him if this continues.

My Dog Forgot His House Training.?

My dog that is a carin terrier/westie mix and he was house trained when he was about a 8 1/2 months old. He’s now 4 and has started peeing everywhere! I find the stains and clean it up and scold him when I catch him in the act but he still continues it. I don’t know how to stop him from peeing everywhere and its been going on for a while now and my house is starting to smell bad in some places. Is there a solution to re-train him and to get the smell out?

Advice Please – My Five Year Old Westie (*****) Has Taken To Soiling In The House?

We have recently moved home and my five year old Westie who was completely house trained has recently taken to soiling in the house.
Her stool is normal and her diet is unaffected. It has happened for the last week to ten days. She is getting plenty of exercise and is walked at least four times in a day
Has anyone got any advice please

Please Help Me House Train My 3 Year Old Westie!!!?

We have had our much loved Westie for 3 years now but have never been able to get her clean! She will go to the toilet both outside and inside! We ignored her messing in the house and praised her for going outside but nothing has ever changed! We had to get rid of all our carpets and had wooden floor laid everywhere. The main problem is that I’ve got a 2 month old baby now. I don’t know what I’m going to do when he starts crawling? I have had to start thinking about rehoming her. That’s the last thing we want to do so if anyone can help then I would really, really appreciate it!
