At What Age Does A West Highland White Terriers Ears Prop Up?

My pup is about six months old, and his ears haven’t propped up yet…does that mean they never will? I’ve read that they usually begin to prop up at about the fourth month, so that worries me because hes actually seven months old now that I think of it. I would greatly appreciate it if someone who has a slight inclination to answer please do so, or if you know a lot about dogs… Thank You.

Does My Westie Need A Companion?

Okay, heres the thing. We got my young little West Highland Terrier about 7 months ago. We have trained him well and he is very happy. We had him enrolled in a Puppy Training School and he did very well and met all the other small puppies and was always so excited to see them every week and was always so happy. Unfortunately, he is our only dog and now he seems lonely and seems like he is going into a “depression”. He isn’t as happy and bites us sometimes and he will walk around with his head down and is all lethargic. Should we get another puppy companion for him? I need proof for my dad that we should. Please let me know and give links to the puppy.

awwwww…i wish i could say i knew, but great choice for a dog! ive had my westie for 5 years and she is so smart and fun, and very cute. (even at 5 years old) shes funny she must think that my dad watches too much tv, she (witness account from my mom) takes the remote off the coffee table, drops it on the floor and pushes it under the couch, and dad gets mad because he cant find the remote. You will enjoy your westie, they are awesome smart little dogs, and they are fast learners, and very loyal.

We’re looking to find a westie pup around the Munster region in Ireland, but we are willing to travel a bit if necessary. As there’s already a male in residence we think there’d be less hassle if we introduced a female puppy. We would need to be able to view the parents to see their temperament, their skin condition, etc. It’s a combination thank-you and birthday prezzie for July for a very special friend and relative. Does A Siberian Husky And West Highland White Terrier Get Along Together?

First, I wanted to have a small dog and then I thought I also need bigger dog to scare of unwanted strangers. So I came up with the Husky cause they look great, scary on the outside but they are still friendly and adorable in the inside. Anyway, I don’t want those really scary and aggressive dogs such as pitbulls, rottweilers etc. Then for a smaller dog, I wanted a westie terrier.
I just want to know if these two breeds get along with each other. And how does aSiberian Husky do in summer, I live in NYC btw but it gets really hot here during summertime. Let me know what your opinions are or if you wanted to suggest other breeds that get along well that would be much appreciated. Thanks!
