Can Anyone Help Me Choose A Dog?

I want one of these dogs on the list,and know what to name then.
I want one of these.Most votes wins the breed.
Sheltie,schnauzer (Standard),Havenese,carin terrier,Westie,
Border collie,and thats it.
I really need help.
witch one is better,and easy to train,fast learner,and not a bad dog.

Can Anyone Help Me Potty Train My New Puppy?

I have an adorable new yorkie/westie mix puppy. She is 10 or 11 weeks old, and I’m working on potty training her.
I live in a 4 bedroom apartment with 3 other girls. I’m 20 years old, and am a full-time student, even in the summer. I’m working on crate training with her, and I spend alot of time with her – but she seems to ONLY pee in the crate lately. I take her outside to play around and use the bathroom for sometimes 2 hours at a time, and she’ll come right home and pee on the carpet, or wait until I put her back in the crate and pee/poop there.
I cannot afford to have my roommates hate me for having a dog that stinks up the house – I’m trying to do everything right, but for some reason, I just can’t get her to catch the hang of this house breaking thing.
Someone, PLEASE! Help me.

I have a 1 yr old westie/shitzu mix and I am trying to train her. I keep putting it off and now i think it might be to late. She knows how to sit but i want her to Stay,fetch,lay down and of course listen when i say NO! Right now all she does is when i say NO is try to butter me up like licking my face and acting innocent. My One Year Old Puppy Piddles When Excited Anyone Have This Problem?

My one year old female westie who is spayed piddles(pees) on the floor when anyone new comes in the door. She is otherwise housebroken and very smart. I have tried letting her outside before company comes but she gets so excited she seems like she cannot help it. I can tell she feels bad but just cannot hold it…I let her outside very frequently.Is this behavior? Is ther anything else I can do? More training? Does it go away?

We’re looking to find a westie pup around the Munster region in Ireland, but we are willing to travel a bit if necessary. As there’s already a male in residence we think there’d be less hassle if we introduced a female puppy. We would need to be able to view the parents to see their temperament, their skin condition, etc. It’s a combination thank-you and birthday prezzie for July for a very special friend and relative. Unfortunatley I haven’t a clue where to begin. I’ve looked through local papers and tried finding some on the internet with no success. Can somebody please point me in the right direction? (also any tips on what to look out for when viewing would be great as I wouldn’t really know myself!) Thanks a million…
