West Highland White Terrier/glen Of Imaal Mix?

How do they look as adults? Are they hard to train? Are they upset when left alone for a time period of about three hours? Do they adapt easily? Are they a bad combination? Say whatever you know about the hybrid!

The first thing I know is that it’s not a hybrid – it’s a cross-bred, mixed breed, mutt, whatever, take your pick.
The second thing I know – who the f would mix two terriers? For what purpose?
The third thing I know – if this was an intentional breeding, then I know neither parent has the health clearances you need to look for if you are buying a puppy. And neither parent has either a field or conformation CH.
The fourth thing I know – terriers have a lot of prey drive, are high energy and intelligent. Most owners only see a cute little dog.
What is your pup going to turn out like? No telling, sorry. It will be somewhere between one parent and the other. And as for temperament – well, that’s genetic too, so look to the parents to see what the pup will end up like.
    Hope I helped!

Edit: THANK YOU FOR ADOPTING! We’re not being insulting; most people on here only want to buy “designer” mixed breeds from “breeders.”
The term is “mixed breed”, not “hybrid.” A hybrid is a combination of two different SPECIES, not breeds.
Please support rescue. NEVER, EVER give a cent to people who are breeding mixed breed dogs. I am not being rude, I am telling you the truth. Regardless of their claims, they are ALL backyard breeders and puppymills, as all they care about is money. They don’t care about the thousands of dogs, purebred and mixed, young and old, that are literally dying as they wait for a new home. They also don’t care about the health and temperament of the animals that they breed. By buying from these “breeders” you are supporting the puppy mill industry.http://www.prisonersofgreed.org/http://www.awarenessday.org/

  3. Curious says:

They’re both terriers with similar coats, very intelligent. No dog is hard to train or has separation anxiety if you know what you’re doing. It’s all about you, not the dog. Watch Cesar Millan Dog Whisperer on Natl Geographic TV.

I don’t no much about either breed so I can’t help you with that. I just wanted to thank you for saving a shelter dog.
