West Highland White Terrier?

I have a few questions about a West Highland White Terrier:
1). How tall do they grow to be (inches)?
2). Can they go for long walks?
3). Are they friendly toward other dogs?
4). Do they make a good house pet?

West Highland White Terriers are great dogs, but they are not for everybody

1) they grow to be 11 inches at the shoulder (however some may reach 12). and they grow to weigh 20 – 22 lbs.
2) they can go for long walks because hey have alot of energy.
3) with proper socialization they are very good with other dogs. however, smaller critters are a no because westies have high prey drives
4) they do make a good house pet. they are adorable little things. and they really only wish to please (just like any other dog). as a matter of fact, though, all dogs make good house pets. although i reccomend not keeping him in the house all day because he’ll need something to do. so maybe, getting him a kong toy.

2) Yes, they are energetic and would love to go on long walks
3) It depends on the individual dog, and not so much the breed.
4) Yes, for the right dog-experienced household that is prepared to deal with the ‘terrier’ personality type (stubborn, high-energy, and very smart)
God good thing its this dog my mom raises them!
They grow to be about 13-16 inches tall (top of head)
They can go for long walks they are VERY energetic.
They are friendly to other dogs as long as you teach them to be, but that is easy ebcause they are very smart and mostly always friendly.
And they make great housepets, mine is 5 years old and she is great.
1. 10-12 inches at the withers, though I have seen some a bit bigger.
2. They love going on walks!
3. A lot of westies I’ve dealt with have been really sweet with other dogs. It just depends if they’ve been around them a lot. If you raise a westie with another dog, they’d be sure to get along well.
4. They’re great pets. They’re very sweet and they love cuddling. We have a couple that come into our shop that actually smile on command. Cutest thing ever.
