Puppy Help On Putty Training, Feeding, And Sleep. She Is 3 Months Old And She Is A Westie?

I just got khloe, which she is 3 months old. I have been trying to putty train her with the training pads. When i see her squating i will lift her up real quick and take her to the balcony where her training pad is. If she is near the pad she will sniff the ground for her last urination and will go on the pad. How do i go step by step to get her to go outside? i have her pad by her crate now so its easy access, but i would like to take her outside. What time should i take her out everyday and what time?
Should I feed her before or after? If i do feed her how long do i have to wait to take her outside.

The best way to train a dog is have a set schedule. Feed them at the same time everyday and don’t leave food available all the time. Some people do the same with water. Take her outside to her puppy pad about every 2 hours like clockwork. This will help to train her bladder to go on schedule. Of course you need to do this at night as well but maybe not so often, get up like 1 or 2 x during the night. After you feed her or water her take her out side.

Take her outside after every meal or when you see her about to “go”. Point to the yard/grass/etc. After a while she will get it and when they get older it’s easier for them to control their “Bladder problems.”
