I have a 3 mos old Saint that plays and then drinks quickly too. She pukes it right back up. I have heard of using water bottles. I like the rock idea from the other poster. Sounds practical and inexpensive. I am assuming you have taken the dog to the vet and there aren't any health problems. Young dogs do that. He would have to drink the water around the rocks, thus, slowing him down.
