My One Year Old Puppy Piddles When Excited Anyone Have This Problem?

My one year old female westie who is spayed piddles(pees) on the floor when anyone new comes in the door. She is otherwise housebroken and very smart. I have tried letting her outside before company comes but she gets so excited she seems like she cannot help it. I can tell she feels bad but just cannot hold it…I let her outside very frequently. Is this behavior? Is ther anything else I can do? More training? Does it go away?

Yes my dog does this he has always done it, hes 4 now. He used to do it quite regularly but now he only does it if someone accidently scares him. I think in the beginning he was just soo exicted to see someone new but then the novelty wore off and he got used to it. So you could try to introduce her to as many new people asz possible and then he may stop peeing because she will be used to it. So like have a barbeque in your back yard, or go out to the park, just try to interact her with lots of people.
