I Want A Cute Dog For An Apartment Not Less Than 5 Kg Are West Highland White Terrier An Option?
Filed under Care & Training Q&As
Of all dog breeds, I think terriers are the worst suited for apartment life. Thats not to say that with the right owner they can’t thrive, because ANY dog can do well in a small space if the owner is willing to put in LOTS of exercise time.
If you aren’t a really active person, i wouldn’t suggest bringing an active terrier home. It wouldn’t be a good match. Try looking into the toy category. Pugs, for example, do pretty well in apartments.
Just remember that ALL dogs require a daily walk. Especially if you live in an apartment and they don’t have a yard to run around in.

Because she lives in an apartment n most apartments don’t allow bigger dogs. duh.
Anyway, terriers and toy breed dogs are small. But terriers are very tenacious and most require alot of excercise. Westies range between 15-20 lbs[sorry, I don't know kilograms.]

They’re all adorable. All toys are small enough for apartments. And I have a little 3.5 lb maltese dog and all she wants to be is in my lap.

Some of the terriers are larger. But whatever dog you chose make sure that you can provide plenty of excercise for them if needed.
Yes, a westie is an option, but so are all these
