I Need A Dog…?

I am looking for a smallish dog, not a yapper like a westie that is mainly hair. I want a sweet dog that is easily trained and a dog that is good around other dogs. Any ideas?

Please adopt – lots of good dogs need good homes with loyal owners such as yourself. Not all dogs given up by former owners are problem animals. You can find just the dog for you through a breed rescue, the SPCA or Humane Society.
An adopted dog KNOWS how lucky he is!

Not many people know about this breed, but a Shiba Inu. Mine is really smart and is soo cute that she got put onto an xmas card. But be careful when choosing, some of them are stubborn.
how much money do you have an Italian Grey hound is smallish under 20 usually, and very thin hair, almost just skin, very smart and RARELY barks, only deal is they are about 1,600 bucks….
they are so totally elegant….I wish I wouldn’t have bought 2 yorkies and got one of the greyhounds instead….
I think the other poster didn’t read your post that you don’t want a HAIRY dog…..Pomeranian are noisy and yappers and a grooming nightmare….
chihuahua mixed dachshund (had one, Sparky R.I.P.) which is a very good combination since they have short fur, friendly, small, and prove to be good alarm/guard dogs.
Maybe you can get a pomerianian. It’s a puffy really really cute hairy dog that is the sweetest thing you could ever see. If you never seen one before, google image it.

Corgi… they’re adorable, sweet, smart, and aren’t yappy. A bit proud, and SO CUTE! They’re small, but they’re certainly not your average small dog.
Also… mutts/mixed breeds are often the sweetest dogs ever, and there are countless sitting in shelters right now.
Go to a shelter.
Border collies are the smallest that I know are not yappers and good with other dogs. Check out the American Kennel Club web site, they have breed profiles that will be of some help.
Please go to any shelter and look for an adoptable dog you might find a smaller mixed breed that is everything you described you will save the life of a dog that might be destined to be destroyed if not for you.
long haired chiuauahs r really nice dogs. stay small there like babys but u have to get any dog used to being around other animals it really depends on the dog
