How Much Do Purebred West Highland White Terrier’s (westies) Cost?

I want to get one and I was wondering how much they cost. I’ve done my research on them but I still can’t find a good answer about how much one cost. Also, do you recommend getting one from a breeder?

Always Always buy from a breeder especially a respectable one with a good reputation. Make sure it’s someone you know or a friend of a friend so you know what kind of condition the pups are born and raised in. As for price, it depends on the location and breeder they range from 800 – 1800; Also, pet shop pups are sick 95% of the time due to the confinement of all the animals; They may offer a warranty but read the fine print, they’re not always cracked out to be what they say they are or the warranty may only last a few years while the problems may arise a year or so after the warranty ends.
As for a little more information; Westies are a very high allergy dog and also require a lot in the grooming area as well.

Yes, PLEASE get one from a breeder. That way you know they come from good backgrounds. Petland pups are cute, but they are sometimes sick. Try petfinder.com. They have breeders and dogs in your area!
