I’m living with one this summer. He is 4 years old. Just the best little boy, and yes, he does sit in my lap and give me ‘kisses’! He is affectionate, attentive, willing to play or to lay quietly. He is good with other dogs, too. Westies are good natured and intelligent. He’s short’legged (But stronger than he looks.) He loves going on walks more than just about anything! And when you think he will be too tired to go another block, he will surprise you with a sudden burst of energy! Yes, this little dog does it all.

Course they can, they’re not overly heavy about 10 -12kg.
