Are Westies Easy Trained? Please Help Me!?

I might be getting a westie and im a bit confused because some people say that westies are really hard to train however other people are saying that they’re really easy to train? Someone with a bit of westie knowledge help me please! Thanks

Westie’s generally easy to train if it’s done in a positive and consistent way. Bear in mind that a Westie has a strong will and great self-esteem, which can cause some training difficulties if training becomes boring or is too harsh. Here’s more info:http://lnk.nu/dogtime.com/v4i.html
They are extremely hard to housebreak, bark alot, hard to keep clean, and are hard headed. Mine gets along with cats b/c I have trained him since he was 8 weeks old to be agreeable with them. He tolerates my son,who is young.. but is extremely food aggressive.
